Month 4 - Bite 11
The kitchen tap is playing up! The drip, drip, drip has been going on for a while - it's time to get it fixed - not just because of the constant annoyance of the unstoppable water noise, but also because it's costing us money. Cash straight down the drain you might say!
The bite for today is twofold.. firstly to order whatever's needed to fix the problem and get on with the mend and secondly to check for water wastage around the property. All the taps need checking for leaks and fixing where necessary. Then it's outside to the water butt, well it's more of a tank, to check the feed to it from the gutters is clear and flowing freely.
This tank will become even more important once the weather improves and the garden needs water. By harnessing rainwater we shouldn't have to reply on paid-for water unless we hit a really dry spell when the tank could run dry.... Not wanting to spend money like water unless absolutely essential, eh?!
